Trailer Security Tip

We recommend that you always install Trailer Keeper on the “driver’s side” of your trailer. There are two very good reasons for this recommendation:

1. If a potential thief backs their tow vehicle to your trailer with the intent to steal it, the first thing they will see when they open the driver’s side door and look back at your trailer is a big chunk of orange metal (Trailer Keeper) attached to the wheel. Thieves quickly move on at this point to search for an easier target. Trailer Keeper’s highly visible, bright orange color provides maximum visual deterrence.
   
   
2. Installing Trailer Keeper on the driver’s side of the trailer helps remind “you” to remove Trailer Keeper before using your trailer.
